It’s been 5 months since I moved to Japan. I never got around to writing about my initial impressions of Nihon (think deer-on-MDMA in the headlights) but a constant flow of enquiries about daily life in Japan had me thinking I really should jot something down.
“And then I became aware of all the magnificent silk wrapped around my body, and had the feeling I might drown in beauty.”

Show me! Where is this love? I, I can’t see it. I can’t touch it. I can’t feel it.
I can hear it. I can hear some words, but I can’t do anything with your easy words.
